HOUSE AND SURROUNDINGS

Fourteenth-century farmhouse, carefully restored with rustic elements such as stone walls and wooden beams. The house is on top of a hill, surrounded by meadows, forests and fields of lavender. From the house you can enjoy a unique view of the regions of Bages and Berguedà. Located 0,5 km from the small village of Serrateix.

ACCOMMODATION
|
|
The accommodation is distributed in a single floor. There is a spacious dining room of 20 m2, rustic style with a large wooden table and a small table with chairs. From the dining room we have access to the kitchen with hob, cooker, dishwasher, microwave and other small appliances, also the fireplace and benches where you can relax next to the fire. From the dining room we can also reach the living room, very luminous, with TV and DVD. There are a total of five bedrooms, 2 doubles and 3 twin beds. Two bathrooms (one with bath and one with shower). Central heating.

ACTIVITIES
|
|
The town of Serrateix is located to less than 0.5 km of the house, where you could go to buy. The near biggest town is Cardona located to 15 km where you could visit the castle that it was constructed in year 886 by Guifre the Pilós and the style is Gothic and Romanesque. Also to take a walk by the salt mines that are very interesting. It is possible to visit Navas where there are many shops, and in center you could find great variety of sites to visit and things of your interest, for example the Mojal that it is in the west of the village of Navas and there are archaeological rest of the age of metals and the Roman time. The capital of the village is Berga that it is 35 km of the house. In this village you could visit the old quarter where there are historical monuments and places like the Square of the sources. In the middle of the square you could find a small corner with a bronze statue that it represents a boy who he removes a thorn. You also could find the mill of salt, the church of santa Eulalia, the vestibule of Santa Magdalena or the chapel of the mercy, that it is a church of medieval origin that it was modified in century XVII.
