The house has a large garden and is located at the heart of the town close to local shops. The apartment also has a south facing terrace with views Albères Mountains. Laroque des Alberes is a charming town of some 2000 inhabitants close to the Spanish border, at the foot of the Pyrenees and just 10km from the Mediterranean coast.

The living area includes a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, hob, microwave and dishwasher. In this area there is also a sofa bed for two people, TV and dining-room table for four. The apartment features a separate double bedroom with views onto the garden and a bathroom (with shower) where the washing machine is also located. Air conditioning/ heating.

Laroque des Alberes benefits from a privileged location, being just 12km from Le Bolou to pick up the motorway or 3km from the main road which leads to the costal towns (10km) of Argelès, Collioure, Banyuls, Port Vendre, Saint Cyprien or the regional capital of Perpignan. There are all sorts of water sports on offer and a marine reserve at Banyuls. Thermal baths at Le Boulou and hot water springs at Saint Thomas, Dorres and Llo. Golf course at Saint Cyprien (20km). Cultural visits to the prehistory museum at Tautavel and Belesta. Abbeys at Saint-Martin-du-Canigou, Saint- Genis-des-Fontaines and Saint-Michael-de-Cuixa. Also worth a visit are the Fortresse de Salses, Château Castelnou, Palais des Rois de Majorque in Perpignan, Château Royal de Collioure and the walled town of Villefranche-de-Conflent. Modern art museum at Ceret.
