It is a very easy excursion, very well signposted, pleasant and suitable for the whole family (30 minutes). The end is the encounter of a magical, gloomy and very beautiful place.
It is one of the most emblematic waterfalls of the region of Ripollès (Catalan Pyrenees), to arrive we can leave from queralbs. It is a simple route to make, albeit with somewhat steep sections, and very well signposted, with an accumulated gap of about 200 meters that allows us to go up the gorges of the river Freser to find the torrent del Grill, place where the waterfall is located. The excursion is ideal to do in the morning or in the afternoon and the arrival impresses, as it arrives very close to the base of the waterfall.
If we want to extend the excursion, we can follow the path to the refuge of the Coma de Vaca , along the way we will find numerous entries of the mines that were exploited to extract uranium until the beginning of the last century and that are testimony of the mining past of the valley.
An ideal excursion to discover the valley of the River Freser.
